ICE-RS cycle 2007-11-15
Summary
The previous cycle was a 4 week cycle with most of the effort spent developing ICE as a service, this included: The api converter – post documents to ICE and have it return the HTML and PDF; Toolbar features - convert to HTML directly from OpenOffice.org as well as publish using Atom Pub from OpenOffice.org. There wasn't a lot of work on the main application for the version 2 release due to staff on leave.
This cycle the focus will be on tasks related to version 2.0, and using ICE as a conversion service. Work is also starting on integration with Moodle where by the user can upload their word processor document into Moodle and it automatically request the HTML/PDF from an ICE server, stay tuned for more on this one.
