ICE-RS cycle 2007-11-28
Summary
The previous cycle was mostly bug fixes for both the stable 1.2 and unstable 2.x source code along with testing. The major results of the previous cycle was proving ICE works as a service, this included directly from OOo and as a web service (see demos). We also worked with our Moodle implementation team (thanks Torben) to use ICE from Moodle, (word processor documents are uploaded into Moodle and are then rendered to HTML and PDF). A demo of this will be posted to the site and blog.
This cycle we will mainly be working on the requirements for running the server version of ICE for both USQ courseware and the PILIN Website. The other main tasks are investigative work in preparation for the hands on workshop at USQ in December. In the second half of the cycle Peter and Daniel will be at the APSR Clever Collections 2007 to run the ICE workshop.
