ICE cycle 2009-05-08
Summary
A lot of bug-fixing, tidying up and testing this week.
We fixed the search on the ICE website.
Exports were failing for a single document export for lightboxes and when cml content was involved, also the tooltip on a footnote was lost, so these were all fixed.
A macro was add to the Advanced Toolbar to reapply paragraph styles in an OOo document. When a user copies a package the title can now be added as part of that process.
We note that there were book issues this week with OpenOffice 3: inserting pages for each odd page wasn't working because the page numbering in Ooo3 is different to OOo2 and numbering was lost when sub levels to numbered lists were used.
The selected readings book is working well for EPS at USQ; pdfs are downloaded and merged into a single book of readings complete with cover pages per reading. We are waiting on changes from the DiReCt team that will affect citations for the course readings.
USQ Eprints deposit from ICE is working.
Ubuntu 9.04 is apparently easy to install ICE on; it comes with Pythin2.6 and most of the packages that ICE reaquires.
ICE training is now being conducted by USQ and we welcomed Simon, USQ's ICE developer to our group.
Peter has been preparing for OR09.

About the cycle notes
The cycle notes are used to summarize the outcomes of the completed cycle and provide stake-holders with an overview of the tasks for the next cycle. They are also used to raise any issues for discussion and provide other information for those who are unable to attend the meetings. Specific information on tasks to be completed are available in the ticketing system, see below.
