ICE cycle 2009-05-15
Summary
This week we discovered that OpenOffice 3 books could not read OpenOffice2 lists. Ron fixed this so now we are looking forward to the next curly that OpenOffice3 will throw at us. Some of us are using OpenOffice3.1 and on Windows it doesn't require the system environment variable that 3.0 and 3.0.1 needed to render odt to html.
Cynthia was busy fixing and excel transformation that was affecting the Cheetah template.
A query regarding installation on a Windows7 OS lead us to discover that ICE wasn't installed in the standard Program Files path on this new operating system, so copying the installed ICE 2 folder to the standard path corrected the expected behaviour when the toolbar was looking for ice.exe.
We installed ICE on the new Ubuntu 9.04 and documented the process. We are hoping to create an installation package in the future to make this a little easier.

About the cycle notes
The cycle notes are used to summarize the outcomes of the completed cycle and provide stake-holders with an overview of the tasks for the next cycle. They are also used to raise any issues for discussion and provide other information for those who are unable to attend the meetings. Specific information on tasks to be completed are available in the ticketing system, see below.
