About the cycle notes

ICE is built using an agile programming methodology, which means that we are always prepared to respond to user requirements and problems over sticking to a pre-ordained plan. We do this using fortnightly cycles meetings, the cycle meetings are used to summarize the outcomes of the completed cycle and provide stakeholders with an overview of the deliverables for the next cycle.

More information

The cycle notes are available on this site either by viewing the appropriate cycle in the left-hand navigation or using the next icon. Specific tasks are added as tickets into Trac with the current cycle available via the roadmap (http://ice.usq.edu.au/trac/roadmap).

Velocity tracking

The ICE project has detailed tracking data on the estimated effort (in an abstract unit called "Work Units") on each task. The number of work-units completed per fortnightly cycle is a reasonable indication of the amount of work we can expect to complete in a cycle, if we take into account holidays and sick leave etc.
