Text to Speech

To convert your OpenOffice.org document to an audio file:

1 Edit Configuration file

  1. Open config.xml for editing

  2. Add an ICE conversion service, a companion server that converts file types.

2 Check skin directory

  1. Ensure your skin folder contains an audio icon called mp3.png

3 Render document

  1. Ensure the text to speech option is ticked.

  2. If the render is successful, the mp3 file is available via the icon at the top right of the page.
