Publish into Wordpress from OpenOffice.org

This document outlines how to setup ICE2 and the OpenOffice.org toolbar for conversion of documents to XHTML via ICE and publish directly to Wordpress from OpenOffice.org.

Note: These steps are currently Windows-only, if you have any questions or comments please feel free to contact us.

Download the following, note the links are to specific versions of ICE and the toolbar.

1. Download and install OpenOffice.org

2. Download this ICE toolbar for OpenOffice.org (unstable version)

   Install the toolbar using these instructions.

3. Download ICE 2

   Run ice_2.0.exe to install.

   When you reach the final step “Completing the ICE 2 Setup Wizard” make sure that the options are selected as below:

   
   

4. A Wordpress blogs are available from http://www.wordpress.com. Use at least version 2.31.

   Important! Your URL to use in Writer for publishing will be: http://yourusername.wordpress.com/wp-app.php
