Customizing an ICE package

ICE looks for a .skin directory which contains a template, CSS, icons and so on. If it doesn't find it in your package directotry it looks higher-up.

At USQ we keep a separate .skin directory for each package. We organized it like that so that the look and feel of each course would get versioned along with the content. So if you were to revert to a previous version of your course you will get the skin that matches that version. This also alows per-course customization, or a if you prefer, central management of skins that get copied into each course.
